• I just became aware of my senator's history of killing kitty-cats (Tennessean). In his 1989 book Transplant, Senator Frist confessed to "adopting cats from shelters when he was in medical school, treating them like pets for a while, and then using them in his research experiments." That's sick. Considering Frist's forays in cat killing, his diagnosis of Terri Schiavo that transcended time and space, and his obsession with wasting time on pointless constitutional amendments that will never pass, Frist needs to go ahead and retire from politics (and medicine) when his term ends in January.
