Just So You Know . . .
. . . I hit 62 consecutive free throws this morning. For what it's worth, the NBA record for consecutive shots from the foul line is 97 (set by Michael Williams of the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1993).

Just so YOU know, I didn't. This morning, in perhaps the oddest alignment of our lives thus far, I shot 100 free throws in preparation/study for an upcoming youth fundraiser. (The youth will find per-shot sponsors in advance of the event (with a cap of 100 shots); made shots will count toward a "Nothing But Nets" contribution, missed shots toward a "Clean Water for NICA" local church benefit providing water filtration systems to homes in Nicaragua.
I needed to know how long it takes to shoot 100 free throws. I only made 23 of the hundred and it took 20 minutes. I blame both results on having to retrieve my own ball.
